At the very start, I doubted
myself if I can do it!
Bang!!!
Everyone moved fast on its respective lanes... I started to run, a journey for me.
I told my self…”I can do this.” It was absolutely a long way to go but I was determined to keep moving forward.
I keep on telling my self…”I can do this, I really
must.” It was absolutely a long way to go but I always bear in mind to keep
moving forward.
Seeing others running…jogging… some of them just
do the walking…
First kilometer was so simple…second kilometer trouble-free…third kilometer still …fourth kilometer, it was quite difficult catching a breath…
Still on the go… focused to my goal, I listened with a music...a Classic music was great!
Fifth kilometer run was more exciting because I saw my Honey (hubby) heading back!
It made my self more enthusiastic to continue…I hit the halfway run!
Heading back at last… I was thinking, “There is no way to stop this time!” I did strike every time I past a tarpaulin and doing it as a motivation.
I was very excited to see the finish line! I said, “Am I there yet?” I was kidding my own self.
Meters away! At a distant I saw my Honey happily
waving his hand anticipating for my arrival. I saw it on his face! I can even
hear his thoughts saying…” I am so proud of you my Honey.”
One step to go…then…I made it! Yes! I made it! I received a warm hug and embrace from my hubby.
I am a 10k finisher!!! Time: 01:41:21H. A physically weakling mortal made it!

‘Twas indeed a fun run experienced. My first ever
run for a cause…not only I had fun but I did help the less fortunate
individuals in my own ‘lil special way.
Looking forward for another run… I am proud to say I made it! I am also proud to my Honey as a 10k finisher too. We made it!
